Organisation : Krea University

Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Designation : Sr. Manager/Manager - Admissions

No. of positions : 2

Responsibilities :

  1. Organizing the admissions process for the upcoming application cycle in 2018.
  2. Managing review of applications, shortlisting and organizing for interviews (staffing of the panels, scheduling) with prospective students across different cities in the country in close coordination with Faculty and Senior Leaders.
  3. Counseling and guiding students and parents that will help them understand the Krea proposition better.
  4. Engaging with counselors, parents and students who may need to understand details about Krea University and the undergraduate programme or may have queries around decisions on their candidature.
  5. Supporting the due diligence and decision making process for selection of students.
  6. Managing large volumes of data, information, records and ensuring efficient archival of application data.
  7. Setting up and implementing an archiving system to ensure an efficient record-keeping of applicant data.

    Experience :
  1. The ideal candidate may have 2-3 years of experience in managing admissions or counseling with reputed institutions in the education sector. Please note that this is not a mandatory condition.

Educational Qualifications : A post graduate degree or equivalent.


Skills required :

  1. Comfort with data, analysis and a strong sense of detail.
  2. Ability to organize and execute projects.
  3. Strong writing and communicating skills.
  4. Being comfortable with uncertainties of a start-up like environment.

Compensation :

Responsibilities :

  1. Developing and leading strategic initiatives designed to attract high potential students for Krea University.
  2. Responsible for student admission counselling and meeting enrolment objectives of the assigned geographic areas.
  3. Engaging with counselors, school administrators, to set up interactions with students and parents of our target group.
  4. Delivering interactive sessions across different schools, events for students and parents.
  5. Conceptualizing and executing events like Principal and counsellor meets, open houses and mega promotional events.
  6. Work with designers, vendors, partners for development and production of marketing collaterals like brochures, presentations, online ads and other promotional material.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience - higher education or student affairs experience preferred.

Educational Qualifications : A post graduate degree or equivalent.


Skills required :

  1. Ability to organize and execute projects.
  2. Strong writing and communication skills.
  3. Ability to listen and counsel students and their parents from diverse backgrounds.
  4. Experience in student recruitment, education advocacy or college counseling.
  5. Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.
  6. Being comfortable with uncertainties of a start-up environment.

Compensation :

  1. Commensurate with experience and potential.
  2. Fair within the existing salary structure of the firm.
