We are looking for a young, energetic architect or environmental sciences manager who will play the following roles:

Design Management

  1. Help shape the institutional pathway for an immersive learning campus and a sustainable future.
  2. Define the design brief based on the concept master plan and interactions with the leadership, faculty and staff.
  3. Coordinate with the design architects, engineers, consultants, interior designers and project management team to ensure that design integrity and time and cost metrics are adhered to.
  4. Regular on-ground presence at the construction stage to identify and highlight bottlenecks or pending decision points.
  5. Have strong program management interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with diverse.
  6. Preparing and processing green and wellness certifications as may be identified for assessment
  7. Support the fundraising organization in identifying assets and creating a compelling pitch for prospective donors.

Sustainability Champion

  1. Define and implement the sustainability road map for the current campus in terms of resource efficiency, waste management, and biodiversity improvement.
  2. Partner with faculty, staff and students in raising the consciousness and action around sustainable living.
  3. Develop and track sustainable construction practices and implementation of the defined sustainability vision for the new campus.
  4. Track performance on various agreed metrics concerning environmental stewardship.
  5. Extend the efforts to the larger community around Krea.

Job Responsibilities :

A. Admissions and Evaluation:

  1. Organizing the admissions process for the upcoming application cycle.
  2. Managing review of applications, shortlisting and organizing for interviews (staffing of the panels, scheduling) with prospective students across different cities in the country in close coordination with Faculty and Senior Leaders.
  3. Supporting the due diligence and decision-making process for the selection of students.

B. Communication:

  1. Counselling and guiding students and parents that will help them understand the Krea proposition better.
  2. Engaging with counsellors, parents and students who may need to understand details about Krea University and the undergraduate programme or may have queries around decisions on their candidature.
  3. Query management.

C. Data Management and Analysis:

  1. Managing large volumes of data, information, records and ensuring efficient archival of application data.
  2. Setting up and implementing an archiving system to ensure an efficient record-keeping of applicant data.

Skills required :

  1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  2. Comfort with data, analysis and a strong sense of detail.
  3. Ability to organize and execute projects.
  4. Strong writing and communicating skills.
  5. Prior experience in project management is desired.
  6. Being comfortable with uncertainties of a start-up like an environment.

The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in working with students (in the capacity of teachers, counsellors, or managing admissions) in the education sector.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and creative content writer to write strong and compelling content for Krea University’s outreach, internal communication, publications, social/digital platforms and the website.

The person will be a part of the communications team at Krea University and will be expected to work closely with the designers and the Krea team of staff and faculty to create clear and concise copy to get the brand message across.

Job Responsibilities :

  1. Understanding Krea’s mission and philosophy
  2. Conduct high-quality research and conversations/interviews with the team/project heads etc. to derive sharp insights that can be leveraged
  3. Developing high-quality website content consistently for Krea’s undergraduate and graduate programmes.
  4. Developing supporting materials for the brand development of the university
  5. Writing, editing and proofreading content for a variety of communication purposes
  6. Developing highly effective, original and targeted marketing content for the promotion of the university
  7. Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, social media projects, print ads, brochures, prospectus etc.)
  8. Working across departments at the university to write and edit creative materials for promotions and direct marketing
  9. Using and maintaining the correct tone of voice consistent with the brand guidelines
  10. Have an in-depth understanding of the target audience

Job Requirements :

  1. Proven experience as a content writer in outreach/marketing/advertising/journalism or a related field
  2. Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability and originality
  3. Should ideally have experience of working with a design partner on visualizing concepts and then penning them down based on the brief
  4. Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

Title : Krea Postdoctoral Fellowship

Remuneration : The remuneration package is competitive.

Who can apply:

To fulfil its research mandate, Krea University invites applications for postdoctoral positions from interested candidates who have received their PhDs in the last three years (2017 and after). The fellowship will be offered for 12 months.

With its philosophy of interwoven and engaged learning, Krea encourages interdisciplinary research in all domains. Postdoctoral fellows at Krea are expected to actively contribute to the academic activities of the university in their respective disciplines and beyond.
