Event Description
The workshop Effective Communication for Positive Climate Action is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to communicate effectively for positive climate action. Through a mix of theory, practical exercises, and real-world insights, the students will leave with the tools and motivation to be effective communicators.

Fundamentals of climate change communications and deep dive into successful campaigns
Understanding the fundamentals of storytelling for inducing positive climate action

Day 2 sessions
Effective audience analysis and message framing
Crafting compelling narratives and utilising digital media for impact
Challenges and opportunities in climate communication

Workshop Lead
The workshop will be led by Kartikeya Jain. He is a Senior Communications Associate with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water and has previously worked with multiple national and international think tanks, NGOs, and campaigns such as Amnesty International, Katha, Nine is Mine campaign, Ekta Parishad, Samaj Pragati Sahyog, and Centre for Community Knowledge.
