Sri City, 4 October 2019: The first cohort of the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences recently elected the office bearers to the Student Government Committees – to act as the voice of the students to the university administration.
Elections were held between 30th September and 2nd October 2019, and the following students have been elected to represent the first cohort of Krea undergraduate students:
The Student Government at the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences comprises of 4 committees (Academic, Extra Curricular, Finance & Campus Life + 2 moderators).
The academic committee has been set up to work with faculty and administration to help with academic/administrative issues that students may face on campus.
The extracurricular committee will help with issues outside the classroom, ranging from cultural events to organizing/helping with expert visits on campus etc.
The campus life committee takes care of infrastructure, food and hostel related requirements or concerns.
The finance committee is to make sure the student clubs and societies get adequate funding.
The elected representatives have resolved to work closely with the student body to voice their interests, ideas and concerns and play an active role in co-creating a unique learning environment at Krea.
