R Ganesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has passed the Uniform CPA Examination of AICPA, USA. 

He has over 32 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Finance & Accounting. He was the CFO of the Akshaya Patra Foundation for 7 years, and a Consultant to this organisation for another year.  Prior to this, he has worked at TVS & Sons P Ltd, Mphasis Ltd, ICICI Bank etc, and had a 4-year stint in Muscat with an Audit & Consulting firm and a Professional Insurance Broking Company.
