PhD Student in Finance & Accounting | Admitted 2019
Nidhin holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Commerce. During the time of his MCom, he qualified the UGC-NET exam. Before joining the PhD programme at IFMR GSB, he worked under the Ministry of Education, Maldives as a Teacher and Lecturer at the Mainz International College, Kulhudhuffushi campus, Maldives, from 2017 to 2019. He taught students at the undergraduate level in the BBA, BHM, and DBA streams at the Mainz International College. His teaching subjects were Corporate Governance, Financial Accounting, and Payroll Accounting. His current area of research includes Sustainable Corporate Finance, Non-financial Disclosures, Corporate Finance, and Accounting.
Nidhin presented research papers at World Finance & Banking Symposium 2022, International Conference on Sustainable Goals 2022, International Conference on Management of MSMEs 2023, Research Symposium in Finance and Economics 2023, and World Finance Conference 2023.

Nidhin is a highly passionate individual with diversified activities. He enjoys engaging in sports including playing cricket, badminton, and football, and social activities including participating in community activities and volunteering at local charitable organisations.
