IFMR GSB has eminent faculty in Operations, who have both experience in the industry and excellent academic credentials. This Area offers courses on Quantitative Techniques for Management Decisions, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Revenue Optimization and Pricing, Business Process Mapping, Operations Strategy, Logistics Management, E-com and Supply Chain Integration, and Supply Chain Finance, to name a few. Some of the courses are core, providing foundations of the tools and techniques in Operations Management that are required across industries – both in the manufacturing and in the service sectors. The elective courses are designed while considering the contemporary business conditions and the need to orient participants towards effective functioning in an Operations role. Upon successful completion of these courses, one can also engage in service business Operations, not being limited exclusively to the manufacturing setup.
