The session will explore the key ideas presented in the book, particularly the opportunities that beckon India and the reform agenda required to make the country a $55 Trillion economy by 2047. Through meticulous research and insightful analysis, the author explores four key pillars to propel India\u2019s growth: Macroeconomic emphasis on growth; Microeconomic focus on Social and Economic Inclusion; Vision of ethical wealth creation &amp; Strategy of a virtuous cycle triggered by investment. The book explores once-in-several-centuries opportunity knocking on India\u2019s doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Highlights of the talk:<br><\/strong>India@100: $55 Trillion Economy<br>Policies to Deliver 8% GDP Growth Till 2047<br>Economic Strategy for a $55 Trillion Economy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Speaker:<br><\/strong>Professor K V Subramanian served as the 17th Chief Economic Adviser (CEA) to the Government of India between 2018 \u2013 2021. He was the youngest CEA when appointed. As CEA, Professor Subramanian\u2019s foresight and vision enabled the Indian economy to emerge with high growth and strong macro fundamentals despite the Ukraine War following the Covid pandemic. Acknowledging his contributions, the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi noted his \u201cacademic brilliance, unique perspectives on economic and policy matters and reformatory zeal\u201d.<br>He has been conferred with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his alma maters as an alumnus of IIT Kanpur &amp; IIM Calcutta.
