\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe IFMR Sports Committee is a student-run organisation dedicated to promoting sports and organising various events throughout the year. Given IFMR GSB Krea University’s location in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) away from the city, sports play a crucial role in the daily lives of students. Our mission is to nurture budding sports enthusiasts, encouraging them to participate in both inter and intra-college events, thereby strengthening the sporting environment among students.\n\nThe institution offers a comprehensive range of sports and fitness facilities, including a cricket and futsal ground, basketball and badminton courts, a gym, and various indoor facilities. These amenities enable students to pursue their sporting passions. Our committee organises numerous events throughout the year, having conducted as many as 18 events this year alone. Notable flagship events include the IFMR GSB Olympics, The Cage – a volleyball tournament, and the IFMR Premier League – a cricket tournament. For several years, the Sports Committee has been responsible for organising the highest number of events at the institution, typically holding one or two events each month. This frequent engagement in sports activities highlights the importance of co-curricular involvement in a management program.\n\nAn essential function of the committee is inventory management. We maintain and manage inventory throughout the year within the allocated budget, ensuring that we procure and provide equipment according to students’ needs. The primary goal of the Sports Committee is to ensure the mental and physical well-being of every member through sports.\n\nEven during the lockdown and the shift to virtual education, we worked hard to keep the sporting spirit alive. We organised various online games to maintain the sanity and adrenaline levels of all individuals. It is immensely satisfying to see students enjoying our events, and we are committed to continuing this effort in the future.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
