Packed with engaging sessions, industry interactions, discussions and presentations with Krea leadership, faculty, staff, students, and alumni, the inaugural function for the incoming batch of 2021-2023 took place on 1 July 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Industry stalwart Mr TT Srinivasaraghavan – Former Managing Director of Sundaram Finance – was the Chief Guest on the inaugural day, sharing his words of wisdom on humility and compassion in business leaders today. A powerhouse in the world of finance, Mr Srinivasaraghavan lauded Krea\u2019s effort in re-imagining management education. \u201cA business school prepares you for corporate life. But what needs to be underlined is that we need to be good human beings now more than ever. The imperativeness of humanitarianism has taken on a completely different dimension. I am delighted that here is an institution which seems to privilege and prioritise humanity and compassion above the hard grind of business, numbers, ratios, and whatnot,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second and third day of the orientation programme featured senior industry leader Mr Chandramouliswaran V (Sr. Director, Global Financial Crimes and Customer Protection & Chennai Centre Head – PayPal) and Prof V Anantha Nageswaran (Member – Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister & Former Dean of IFMR GSB at Krea University) respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
