Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary representative of the communications team on campus, serving as the Point of Contact (POC) for faculty, student, and campus communications, and ensuring the team’s interests are well represented in meetings and forums.
  • Lead and execute a comprehensive communication strategy across campus, focused on faculty initiatives, student achievements, and university events, ensuring alignment with Krea University’s objectives.
  • Oversee all campus communications, promoting and managing campus-driven events and initiatives with clarity and coherence.
  • Manage faculty communications, including the promotion of faculty-driven events and initiatives, ensuring accurate and effective messaging.
  • Enhance student communications by promoting and reporting on student activities, clubs, and committees, ensuring timely and clear dissemination of information.
  • Collaborate with faculty and students to generate user-driven content, fostering a strong sense of community engagement across campus.
  • Develop compelling and original content for all facets of campus communications, including faculty-led initiatives, student achievements, academic highlights, and key university events.
  • Promote faculty and student accomplishments to media outlets, identifying opportunities for op-eds, interviews, and other media engagements.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the Krea website, ensuring regular updates that highlight campus life, academic pursuits, and faculty achievements while collaborating with web developers to enhance the user experience.
  • Manage social media presence in collaboration with faculty and students, driving engagement and promoting key university messaging.
  • Oversee the promotion of Krea Talks, managing the creation of related collateral and publicity.
  • Introduce and drive innovative communication strategies to elevate the Krea brand, particularly focusing on faculty achievements, academic successes, and campus life.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to develop web content, identify content needs, and improve the overall web presence of Krea University.
  • Liaise with external agencies to support the promotion of faculty achievements, research, and university events when necessary.
  • Address communication-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring quick resolutions and consistent messaging.
  • Handle ad hoc requests and maintain flexibility in working hours, including occasional adjustments to meet project deadlines and event requirements.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing and executing communication strategies, particularly in dynamic and multifaceted environments.
  • Strong content creation, writing, and storytelling skills across various platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools, with hands-on experience in website management and social media engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities, with the capability to work across various departments and build strong working relationships.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to communication challenges, with a proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Prior experience in the education sector is preferred but not mandatory.

Any other task assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications or related role, with a focus on content creation, strategy execution, and stakeholder management.
