Our partners are varied and they include national and global academic institutions, centres of excellence, corporate entities, social enterprises, foundations and government organisations.

Significant partnership in New Zealand with Victoria University of Wellington, steered by New Zealand India Research Institute

Access world-class programs and Psychology-related majors at Nottingham Trent University, UK

Krea has signed a partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU). A leading University from the United Kingdom, Nottingham Trent University is Winner of University of the Year 2019 (Guardian University Awards); Modern University of the Year 2018 (Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide and Winner of University of the Year 2017 (Times Higher Education Awards). It holds research strengths in areas such as Global Heritage: Science Management & Development; Sustainable Futures; Safety & security of Citizens and Society; and Health and Wellbeing. The Nottingham Business School (NBS) is EQUIS and AACSB accredited and is ranked in Europe's top 100 by Financial Times. The partnership with NTU will lead to further collaborative opportunities that offer students of Krea to explore advanced study programs in areas such as Psychology for which the University is highly reputed globally.

Significant partnership in New Zealand with Victoria University of Wellington, steered by New Zealand India Research Institute

Krea has a significant agreement with Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). It is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most prestigious tertiary institutions with a proud tradition of academic excellence. VUW is ranked in the top 2% of universities globally and is New Zealand’s top ranked university for intensity of high-quality research. The university is also home to the New Zealand India Research Institute (NZIRI), a consortium of scholars actively engaged in research on India in all seven New Zealand universities and promote / facilitate research on India and NZ–India relations. Krea will work closely with NZIRI towards exchange of research staff and collaborative activities.


Krea University and American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) have come together through a formal alliance.

Krea University and American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) have come together through a formal alliance.

Under this agreement, both institutions will work towards fostering and enhancing awareness of Indian Civilization, Culture and Languages, among foreign scholars and researchers.
AIIS is a consortium of 89 Universities in the USA, with its headquarters in at the University of Chicago. It is an organisation of scholars and was established for the purpose of encouraging and facilitating scholarly studies of Americans in India. AIIS has been functioning in India for over 58 years.
Krea will support AIIS scholar initiatives. This partnership adds a new dimension to Krea University, continuing our emphasis on Indian culture studies, across both coursework and research


Academic partnership with James Cook University to facilitate environmental sciences students

Academic partnership with James Cook University, world leaders in Environmental science and practice

Krea has signed an academic partnership with James Cook University (JCU), Australia. JCU is ranked No.1 in the world for Marine & Freshwater Biology and No.2 in the world for Biodiversity Conservation. JCU’s unique Cairns and Townsville campuses are surrounded by the spectacular ecosystems of the wet tropics, the savannahs and the Great Barrier Reef. The University’s The Science Place, a stunning teaching and research facility was awarded a prestigious LEED Gold rating for its environmentally sustainable design. As part of this agreement Krea and JCU will jointly develop programs for students and explore advance academic and research engagements, with a specific focus on environmental studies and further study and research options at JCU in Australia.

Academic Partnership with University College Cork, Ireland

Krea students will have an opportunity to advance their studies at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. Recognised among the top 2% of research-led universities in the world, UCC holds a distinction for the quality of its academic programs, research and collaborations across Science, Technology, Arts and Business fields. The genius mathematician, George Boole, creator of Boolean Algebra and father of Information age, was UCC's first Professor of Mathematics. UCC is now home to several world leading, national centres of research excellence including the Tyndall National Institute (ICT, Photonics, Nano-Technology); APC Microbiome Institute; INSIGHT Centre for Data Analytics; Marine & Renewable Energy Ireland.

Krea’s partnership with UCC will encourage students to develop their research capabilities and impact by working with leading experts at UCC. The partnership will also offer advanced study opportunities in Life Sciences, Computer Science & Data Analytics, Financial Mathematics, and Actuarial Studies.

Opportunity for Summer Programme at King’s College London Undergraduate Summer School

Krea students will now have an opportunity to apply and study at the popular King’s College London Undergraduate Summer School. As part of the agreement, students can opt for short term modules during their summer break and advance their knowledge and understanding in a specific academic area. King’s College London is ranked among the top 25 universities in the world and holds a distinguished reputation for quality of teaching and research in the humanities and sciences.

The KCL Summer School is an opportunity for Krea students to build their global competencies and networks.


Exchange of Expertise Initiative with Australian Council for the Arts

Exchange of Expertise Initiative with Australian Council for the Arts

Australian Council for the Arts, the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body has inked an Exchange of Expertise Initiative with Krea University. A first of its kind in India, the initiative will see arts faculty from Krea University travel to Australia to deliver workshops, lectures and similar activities. In turn, arts and culture industry experts from Australia will travel to India and interact with Krea students as well as engage with Indian industry. The initiative will focus on knowledge-sharing, capacity building and cross-cultural understanding of best practice in the arts and cultural sectors, and significantly benefit Krea students.

Krea partners with Europe’s most popular Utrecht Summer School

Krea has partnered with Utrecht Summer School in the Netherlands. The Summer School is a cooperation of the Utrecht University, University of the Arts Utrecht and HU University of Applied Sciences. Utrecht University has developed into one of Europe’s most prominent institutes of research and education. The Utrecht Summer School courses have an interdisciplinary and analytical approach, drawing on theories and empirical research from sociology, psychology, political science, demography, and economics, among others. This aligns closely with the pedagogical approach at Krea University. Students will have an opportunity to attend two or four-week summer courses with some of them focussed on contemporary issues within socio-economic and cultural themes.

The Academic Internship Council (AIC) provides high-quality international internships for students and is the preferred partner for some world-reputed Universities. Krea-AIC alliance will provide a world of internship opportunities for our students. They can opt for a 06-week engaging immersion opportunity within any industry of their choice in globally important cities like Berlin, Boston, Cape Town, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Prague, San Francisco, Santiago, Tokyo, Toronto, Vancouver. Internship possibilities are endless and can range from work with a venture fund in New York City, to film and TV production in Prague, to a non-profit advocacy group in Cape Town. Krea-AIC alliance can now make many internship opportunities possible!

Yunus Social Business Center to promote social entrepreneurship among students

Krea University and Yunus Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh will set up a Yunus Social Business Centre at Krea. Krea University has a focus on instilling a sense of societal impact among students to prepare them for leadership in an increasingly complex and uncertain world. The Center would organize workshops, competitions and research to promote Nobel Laureate Prof Yunus’ vision of eradicating poverty through social businesses. This partnership will enhance the learning experience for students at Krea University and provide a great opportunity for young minds at Krea to grasp the concept of social business and solve social problems in a financially sustainable way. It will help students engage with ethical questions, find their sense of purpose and understand the societal impact of their action.

Immersive experiences with Virtual Reality Media Lab at Krea University

Krea University along with Inspirit, a VR/AR designing house in the US, will set up a media lab for students to encounter the future of visualization-narrations using technologies of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). The media lab will introduce students to the concepts and practise of soundscaping, recording and mixing. They can experiment with new forms that can emerge when they combine sounds and images on state-of-art editing platforms with graphics and software that can enable them to visualize almost anything that they can dream of.

Krea University and The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values (“The Center”) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced a formal agreement to reimagine and co-create the ethics learning experience for Krea University’s undergraduate students. Krea University has a distinct focus on promoting ethical reasoning and decision-making to prepare future leaders for an increasingly complex and uncertain world. The Center would help Krea deliver an innovative ethics curriculum to its undergraduate students
