At the onset of the summer placement season, I was firmly focussed on Risk Management and as part of my preparations I spoke to my programme seniors and did ample research on the roles offered by Credit Suisse. From interaction with senior stakeholders and working with friendly, helpful and approachable employees to accessing great resources, may it be learning tools or hardware, it all worked out real well. The skills I learnt at Credit Suisse helped me develop a practical understanding to complement the theoretical knowledge I will be acquiring in my MBA programme. I completed my deliverables before the assigned deadline and that was a definite milestone. My academic mentor was of great support to me through the entire internship. Given the security challenges COVID-19 posed, the team still managed the best under these circumstances. I realize how important an internship is for an MBA student as it aids practical understanding, helps with upskilling and very importantly helps choose between generalization and specialization in the coming year."}
