We say that an arrangement is generic if there are at least&nbsp;<em>n<\/em>&nbsp;hyperplanes and a codimension&nbsp;<em>k<\/em>&nbsp;intersection is formed by exactly&nbsp;<em>k<\/em>&nbsp;many hyperplanes.&nbsp; This is an interesting arrangement \u2013 for example, for a fixed&nbsp;<em>m \u2265 n,<\/em>&nbsp;a generic arrangement of&nbsp;<em>m<\/em>&nbsp;hyperplanes in an&nbsp;<em>n<\/em>-dimensional Euclidean space has the maximum number of regions. Two arrangements are (combinatorially) isomorphic (or equivalent) if there is an ambient linear homeomorphism which preserves incidences between strata and the polyhedral structure of each stratum. In general, it is an interesting (and difficult) problem to understand the isomorphism classes of arrangements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www-cdn.krea.edu.in\/sias\/2023\/05\/My-project-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www-cdn.krea.edu.in\/sias\/2023\/05\/My-project-3.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www-cdn.krea.edu.in\/sias\/2023\/05\/My-project-3-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www-cdn.krea.edu.in\/sias\/2023\/05\/My-project-3-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In this paper, the author introduces and defines a new type of hyperplane arrangements called infinity type hyperplane arrangements.\u00a0 The concept of normal systems (which is a collection of normal directions to these hyperplanes) \u00a0are used to uniquely identify such generic arrangements. The main theorem states that the equivalence of two infinity type generic hyperplane arrangements is equivalent to the isomorphism of corresponding normal systems. The author also considers the case of all generic arrangements and proves that equivalence of arrangements implies isomorphism of normal systems.
