In their presentation, they demonstrated how they use reading strategies to enable students of mathematics and quantitative sciences to comprehend mathematical content more effectively in their flagship course titled &#8220;Writing in Mathematical and Quantitative Sciences&#8221;. Drawing upon samples of students&#8217; writing, Vivek and Sayantan showed how strategies that draw attention to non-technical aspects of mathematical texts can actually help students comprehend technical aspects of mathematical texts.
