The Literature and Arts Division at Krea University is currently inviting applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track, open-rank position in Translation, Translation theory, Translation Studies, and Translation practice.
We are looking for a scholar who has experience in translation as well as teaching and research in translation studies. We encourage applications from scholars who are not only working comparatively with different language materials but are actively thinking about translation as a constitutive problem of postcolonial literary theory in particular or of literary theory more generally.
The selected candidate/s will teach the required course on Translation studies taken by all Literature and Joint Literature and Arts Majors as well as advanced courses that could be focussed on translation practice and theory and other elective courses. In addition the candidate/s will teach the Core and Skills course designed for students across the university and will be expected to participate fully in University service.
