He has worked predominantly in the energy sector and in land administration, both in Andhra Pradesh and in the Government of India, and has previously served as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister for five years. Throughout his career, he has consistently worked to make government services easily accessible to the people of the state.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam; a Master’s degree in Integrated Electronics and Circuits from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi; and a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from Duke University, USA. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
