Dr Sunder Ramaswamy is the Vice Chancellor of Krea University. He has a PhD from Purdue University, M.A from Delhi School of Economics, and B.A. from St. Stephen’s College.
Having established university services and partnerships for Cialfo, Glenn now leads the Higher Education Partnerships team connecting universities and colleges around the world with Cialfo's network of 1600 leading high schools.

An addictions psychiatrist conducting research aimed at developing and evaluating interventions for alcohol use disorders in low resource settings, most of Dr Abhijit Nadkarni’s work is based out of Sangath - a research NGO in Goa.
Anup is CPR's Operations Head. He holds a Master Degree in Social Work from Delhi University. He started his career as Research Associate and managed the implementation of multiple large-scale assessments.
Aparna is a researcher with the AI for Social Good team, Google . She received her PhD in Computer Science at ETH Zurich and pursued a postdoc at Disney Research Zurich. She has a Bachelors and Masters from IIT Delhi.
Dr Ashley Whittington-Barnish is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Applied Behavior Analysis department in Chicago. She recently completed a 4 year term as a Board Member at Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis (IL-ABA).
David Appasamy heads Brand and Strategy at Social Beat, a fast growing digital marketing company. David has over 35 years of experience in General Management, Business Strategy, Internet Governance, Marketing Management, Advertising, Sales, Digital Marketing in Corporate and Social sectors.
Hemin Bharucha has been a Senior Leadership Team member since 2019. Hemin has over two decades of international trade and investment experience, advising companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
Ambassador FABER is a seasoned career diplomat with nearly 30 years of experience. He has worked in the areas of Human Rights, Health and Humanitarian Affairs and Development Cooperation. He received his M.A. from the University of Trèves.
Mathivanan is the founder of Stray Factory, an Independent film studio that works on International Co-productions based out of India. Credits include Nirvana Inn; Nasir; and Freddie's Piano. He is a graduate of Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Nistula Hebbar is a journalist at The Hindu. She is also the author of ‘Kiss and Tell’ and has contributed to two other books - ‘Cabals and Kings’ and ‘The Lives of Muslims in India’.
Pradeep is a Co-founder of Tiger Analytics. He has worked with clients at Fortune 100 companies and start-ups alike to enable scientific decision making in their organizations. Pradeep holds an MS from UT Austin and B.Tech. from IIT Madras.

Pritika is Director and Research Fellow at IDFC Institute, and leads the Institute’s urban programmes. She has a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a dual Bachelors degree from Bryn Mawr College.
Reman is a talent engagement and development expert, leading the Council on Energy, Environment and Water’s HR function. Reman studied Economics in the Hindu College and a PG from Warwick Business School.
Dr Sandhya’s work with The George Institute involves assessing the effectiveness of technology enabled delivery of mental health care by primary healthcare workers. She received her doctoral degree in Social Medicine and Community Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Publishing Director and co-founder of Karadi Tales Company, Shobha is passionate about picture books. A firm believer that reading should be for fun and that art enhances the reading experience, she has veered the direction of Karadi Tales to garner international reputation, while at the same time making the books a national favourite across India.
Somdatta Karak has worked for more than 6 years as a full-time school teacher and science communicator at CSIR-CCMB. She was a Postdoctoral fellow at Georg August University, Goettingen, Germany and a Teach for India fellow in Mumbai.

Dr Akhila is Divisional Chair - Literature & the Arts, Associate Professor of Practice, and Curator, VENI, The Ideas Place. She has a PhD from The Ohio State University and won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2013-2014).
Dr Anusnigdha is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at Krea University. She did her PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies from University of Essex, UK and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK.
Avnita Bir, Principal of the prestigious RN Podar School, has worked in Education for over 3.5 decades, and served as a member of the CBSE Governing Body. She is a recipient of the National Award for Teachers.
As a professor of Environmental Studies, Dr Bharath enjoys using an interdisciplinary approach to address challenges posed by the dynamism between environment and society. He completed his PhD from Manipal University and Masters from Pondicherry University.
Dr Bhavanishankar Subramanian has been integrating policies of various education boards and inclusive education models with institutional demands. He leads a group of instructional leaders to implement the same, credited globally and nationally for their efforts.
Devaki Rao has been an art educationist for more than 20 years. With Art being a passion of hers throughout her academic career, she has participated in art exhibitions and workshops at the national and regional level.
Gaurav is an economist with research, policy development, and private sector consulting experience. He has a PhD from Pennsylvania State University, an MA from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a B.A. from St. Xavier’s College.
Dr Raina holds a PhD in Mathematics (Srinivasa Ramanujan Scholar) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge. He is part of the faculty in Electrical Engineering at IIT Madras, and a visiting research fellow in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
Kavita Mathur is an experienced Academic Head with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. A strong education professional, she graduated from RDVV University.
Dr Lakshman is an Assistant Professor of Biological Science at Krea. He holds a Master’s in Life Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS, USA.
An education leader with extensive experience, Meeta Sharma is the Principal of the prestigious Mussoorie International School. She was with Maharaja Sawai Man Singh School, Jaipur; headed the Mody School, Sikar; and spent years with the Doon School.
Pallavi Mishra has close to two decades of experience in entirely international curricula including IBDP, IB MYP and IB PYP. She is UGC NET (National Education Test) qualified, and CIDTT certified teacher mentor by UK, Keele University.
Dr T. V. H. Prathamesh works in the intersection of logic, computer science and mathematics. He did his undergraduate studies in Mathematics at St. Xavier’s College and an Integrated Ph.D., in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
Dr Prithvi is a social historian, literary critic and political commentator. He studied history and literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University and has a PhD from the University of Chicago. He was also a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago.
Richard Hillebrand has been in education for over 35 years. He studied at Durham University and Bath University and has also taught Politics for a number of years. He has worked in schools in England and internationally.
Dr Sonia Soni is a clinical psychologist and a counsellor with over 16 years of experience. She graduated from Delhi University in Psychology, received her doctorate in 2012, and pursued career guidance courses from UCLA and Harvard University.
Dr Sumitra Ranganathan has a PhD in Music from the University of California, Berkeley. She has an MS in systems and information and an MSc in physics. She transitioned to the humanities after 16 years as an e-commerce specialist.
Trained as a political scientist, she works as an independent scholar, consultant, and founded The Prajnya Trust. She is a founding member of the Women's Regional Network, a network of women peace activists from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.
Dr Viswanathan’s research interests have spanned the areas of molecular conformations and weak non-covalent interaction, which pervades through all of chemistry, physics and biology. He has a PhD from Vanderbilt University.

Student Panelists
A second-year student at Krea University, Abhimanyu is majoring in Social Studies with a minor in Economics. He has also taken a few courses in Environmental Science. Exploring the intersection in Economics, Environmental Science and Sociology interests him.
Akshat is a second-year student at Krea University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Psychology. In the future, he intends to explore the intersection of these two fields in the area of Business.
Archit Venugopalan is pursuing a Computer Science major and a Mathematics minor at Krea University. He plans to study further and pursue a career in Artificial Intelligence.
Arvind is pursuing a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. At Krea, he also had the opportunity to take up a few literature courses in a bid to get out of his comfort zone.
Arya is a second-year student at SIAS, Krea University, majoring in Literature. She is particularly interested in adaptation theory.
A second-year student, Gopika is majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She intends to explore the fields of neuroscience and stem cell research.
Lochana, a second-year student at Krea, is pursuing a computer science major and a chemistry minor. As a student of computer science, she believes the need for computational environments is something that was and will continue to be echoed.
A second-year student at Krea University, Pranesh is majoring in Economics. He is also a representative of the Extracurricular Committee, an active Krea Student Ambassador, and a regular Social Outreach representative.
Satvika is a second-year student at Krea, pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Literature. At Krea, she is a trained Peer Support Volunteer and used to be a co-representative of the Social Outreach Club, Aikyatha.
A student at Krea University, Smriti is pursuing a Joint Major in Economics and Environmental Studies with a concentration in Business Studies. She plans on studying further in the field of Environmental Management with respect to Marine Ecosystem Management.

Through her 15-year senior professional tenure, she has provided advisory services to international Universities and Government agencies enabling them to expand their global footprint and forge sustainable partnerships with academia, corporate organisations, and research labs. Kala has held positions as the Education lead for the South Asia region at Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), Director of Konnect in Singapore, among others.

Bhakti has a bachelors in Psychology from Fergusson College and a Masters in International Journalism from The University of Westminster, UK. She has worked in several major cities of the world including Mumbai, London and Atlanta, with over 14 years of experience in the Media and Education industries. As a journalist in London, she was selected twice to be a part of a team of 6 journalists across the UK to provide media training to the NATO troops stationed in Scotland. She has over a decade of experience in Marketing with India’s leading education companies, formulating outreach and marketing strategies.

Nupur Juneja has an MBA in Business Analytics from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. She has Overall 13+ years of experience in Client Success & Relationship Management and Majority of her professional experience has been in the BFSI sector and have worked with organizations like IBM & Royal Bank of Scotland. She was introduced to the Higher Education and Career Guidance space when she started working with Univariety as School Engagement & Client Success Manager. In her last stint, she was working as Client Success Manager in Univariety.

Rachana is a Marketing Professional with over 7 years of experience in Student acquisition, Outreach, Business Development & Affiliate Marketing. She was previously associated with Institutes like Acharya Bangalore Business School, IFIM group of Institutions, ISBR group of institutions and Vijaybhoomi University.
