Afrin Alim Shaikh is a final-year BSc (Hons) student at Krea University, double majoring in Data Science and Biological Sciences, and graduating in June 2027. Her experience spans a research internship in student-behaviour clustering at Krea, along with internships and roles across operations, education, and outreach at Circle U, Kruu, Avalonn Media, and Teach For India, where she has consistently worked with data cleaning, reporting, and structured analysis. She is proficient in Python, SQL, and Excel, and comfortable turning messy data into clear, actionable insights. She is looking for roles in Data Analytics, Data Scientist, Business Analytics, and Healthcare Analytics, as well as development and social-impact consulting roles where structured, evidence-based thinking can drive real-world outcomes.

Worked with a dataset of 1,195 students across 31 features; used Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data cleaning and preparation, engineered a Study Efficiency Index and High-Performance Indicator, applied K-Means clustering to identify three student behaviour groups, built visualisations using Matplotlib and Seaborn, and presented findings and data-based recommendations to faculty.
