Event Aim and Scope
The bootcamp is a one-day, hands-on introduction to EEG preprocessing and analysis.
Participants will learn to take a single raw dataset from disk to a clean event-related potential (ERP) twice.
The pipelines will be scripted first in Python using MNE-Python, and then replicated in MATLAB using EEGLAB.
The pedagogical goal is for students to articulate what each stage of the pipeline does, understand why the two toolboxes make similar decisions differently, and learn how to critically read a Methods section.
