Exemption from Competitive Exams for Eligible Applicants:

IFMR GSB extends a special invitation to individuals who have attained top-ranking positions in the nation’s most esteemed educational institutions. This provision is exclusively for applicants who have successfully completed their undergraduate degrees and achieved a university rank.

Applicants who have secured positions within the top 20 ranks among universities and institutes acknowledged by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), as detailed in both the comprehensive rankings https://www.nirfindia.org/Rankings/2025/OverallRanking.html and university rankings https://www.nirfindia.org/Rankings/2025/UniversityRanking.html will not be obliged to submit competitive exam scores. However, it is essential to furnish documentary evidence confirming your university ranking.

Other Details

• Graduates of full-time degree course and or students in the final year of the undergraduate degree can apply.
• Students from ODL (Open and Distance Learning) institutions are also eligible to apply as per the UGC policy and notification.
• Applicants must submit valid scores in one (or more) of the competitive exams as mentioned in the eligibility criteria. From among the competitive exam scores given by the applicant, the best score will be considered subject to meeting the eligibility cut off.
• Work experience is not required. Fresh graduates as well as candidates with work experience are eligible. Full-time work experience up to 36 months only will receive credit during the evaluation of the application.
