Who can apply: We are looking for applicants who hold a PhD in the relevant area from a reputable university with passion for teaching, quality research in the form of published/accepted journal papers/Books and book chapters/conference proceedings, engage in institution development and undertake consultancy.

The following research areas may get preference while all relevant research fields are welcome. Agrarian studies, agricultural science, atmospheric and space science, climate sciences, climate responsibility, environmental chemistry, environmental impacts and adaptation, environmental philosophy, environmental policy and governance, geology and geophysics, GIS, marine biology, oceanography, remote sensing, sustainability and sustainable development.

Requirements:

• You must have an excellent academic record with a Ph.D. or equivalent.
• You should be passionate about teaching and mentoring, and are expected to effectively teach the existing courses and floating new ones suitable for Environmental Studies Undergraduate program. Past teaching and mentoring experiences are considered an advantage.
• You should possess a robust research agenda to carry out independent cutting-edge research in your field of expertise, motivation to secure external funding and building up research groups.
• You should be prepared and excited to play a role in institution building.
