Labs and Research Facilities

Our high-field 600 MHz NMR spectrometer supports advanced structural and dynamic studies of organic, inorganic, and catalytic systems. It enables multinuclear experiments, reaction monitoring, and mechanistic investigations with high resolution and sensitivity, providing critical insights for research in catalysis, materials chemistry, and molecular design.

The Raman microscope enables non-destructive, spatially resolved characterisation of materials at the micro-scale. It is particularly valuable for studying catalyst surfaces, reaction intermediates, and phase composition, offering insights into molecular structure, bonding, and heterogeneity in catalytic and functional materials.

Our electrochemical workstation supports techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, and chronoamperometry. It is essential for investigating electrocatalytic processes, energy materials, and reaction kinetics, allowing precise evaluation of catalyst performance and mechanistic pathways in electrochemical systems.

The laboratory is equipped with fume hoods, rotary evaporators, and essential synthesis tools to safely conduct chemical reactions and sample preparation. This facility enables efficient synthesis, purification, and handling of compounds required for catalysis, spectroscopy, and materials research.
