Kaveri Bharath, Visiting Faculty, Global Arts, SIAS recently penned two articles in MRIN, the official magazine of the Indian Ceramic Art Foundation.

Kaveri’s articles titled, Golden Bridge Pottery Student Kiln, and Simple Backyard Woodfiring, were both about learning and teaching wood firing. The first article was about her own education in wood firing and kilns in the early to mid 1990s, at the Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry, and the second article is about the simple wood fire kilns that she builds and fires with students, with appropriate complexity depending on the ages and abilities of the student group.
