The Psychology division at Krea University is inviting applications for the position of Visiting Faculty.

The School of Interwoven Arts & Sciences (SIAS) at Krea University is seeking applications for a visiting faculty position to teach the course I/O Psychology. The appointment begins on October 21, 2024, and spans three months. We welcome candidates at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor), particularly those specializing in industrial psychology. However, highly qualified candidates from other psychology fields are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should possess a PhD by the time of appointment, demonstrate a strong research profile, and be ready to engage in teaching activities at Krea. Below is a description of the course, I/O Psychology:
This course offers an introduction to the field of industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology, which focuses on scientifically studying behavior within organizational contexts, and applying psychological principles to comprehend and shape work behavior. The course should help students appreciate the human aspects of organisations at individual, interpersonal and group levels. Topics in this course encompass exploring the intricacies of employee satisfaction and workplace motivation, analyzing how various leadership styles influence employee performance and organizational outcomes, and locating sites of intervention for changes. The primary objective of the course is to foster a critical examination of the intricate fabric of workplace dynamics. This includes scrutinizing prevalent workplace practices, exploring decision-making processes, and examining the criteria used to measure both success and failure within organizational contexts. Through this course, students will be exposed to the multifaceted nature of organizational behavior and the complex interplay between individuals, structures, and culture within the workplace.
