Ashish Gupta is the Managing Director and Head of Equity Research, India.  He is also the lead analyst for the Indian financial services sector and APAC banks based in Mumbai. He has been covering Indian banks for over 20 years and with CS for over 11 years. He and his team have been highly rated consistently in journals like Asiamoney, Institutional Investor. Ashish joined Credit Suisse group in April 2009, prior to which he spent two years on the buy side. Prior to this Ashish had an eight year stint with CLSA in Mumbai as the lead analyst covering the Indian financials and automobiles sector. He holds a master’s degree in management from the Mumbai University and is a CFA charter holder
