The Right and (Un)democratic Rights | Ayodhya, Echos of Haldwani and Kashmir – Movie Screenings and Discussion

Spearheaded by independent documentary filmmaker Professor Anurag Singh, these three recent films, through powerful visuals and personal testimonies, reveal the broader implications of significant political events. While they express the stance of the State, they also capture the responses of the people.

The screening will be followed by a discussion between

They will be joined virtually by Adnan Bhat, an award-winning independent journalist from Kashmir. Over his decade-long career, Adnan has worked with reputed media organisations worldwide and has received several recognitions and awards, including the Human Rights Press Awards and Stanley Center Grants, among others. Adnan made the film on Kashmir.
