Overview

At Krea, we have a need-blind admission process and a need-aware financial assistance process that endeavours to support the financial need of a student who wishes to pursue his/her educational aspirations in the University. Assistance provided will depend on the income status of the parents / legal guardian, but will take into account other assessment parameters as well.

Our Office of Financial Assistance runs separately from the Office of Admissions. Data and information contained in your Financial Assistance application is not shared with the Office of Admissions.

For any queries regarding Financial Assistance, Merit Scholarship, or Education Loans, please reach out to us at: [email protected] or +91 99440 39895

We look forward to seeing you at Krea.

With best wishes, Office of Financial Assistance

Step 1

The Financial Assistance form will be enabled on the application portal after Stage 1 of the admission process is completed.

Step 2

Applicants submit the following details along with the relevant documents on the financial assistance form

  • Parents’/guardians’ income proofs (ITR, AIS, salary slips, bank statements)
  • Business financials (GST filings, audit reports, partnership deeds if any)
  • Statements of assets, liabilities, investments, and loans.
  • Property documents and net worth certificates.
  • School fee receipts, scholarship proofs, and major expense records.
  • Additional documents like NSDL and CIBIL reports, if applicable.

Step 3

Receive decision on financial assistance

Please note:
In case the information provided in the financial assistance application is insufficient, then the Office of Financial Assistance may seek additional information or conduct separate interviews, as required.

Eligibility for financial-assistance is broadly driven by the family’s combined income. Those applicants, whose combined family income is less than Rs.50 lakhs, are eligible to apply.

However, please note that the final decision and quantum of financial assistance is based on a detailed review of all documents and information that may be sought from the applicant and other sources.

Key Policies

Krea University reserves the right to review a student’s family income and related financial documents at any time during the course of study. Based on this review or any new information about the student’s financial background, the University may revise, change, or cancel the financial assistance granted. Krea University also retains the authority to modify the quantum, eligibility criteria, and processes for awarding financial assistance at its discretion.

Financial-assistance disbursement over the years may be subject to certain conditions, such as the student’s satisfactory academic progress and good conduct on campus.

The Office of Financial Assistance may also commission and authorise independent consultants and field staff to conduct on-site checks, if required.

In an effort to make world-class education affordable to all, Krea University has collaborated with the following organization, banks and financial institutions to enable students to explore education loan options.

It may be noted that Krea University will only facilitate access to education loans from these banks without any obligation on its part. Those interested in education loans are requested to get the latest information on the interest rate and other terms directly from the banks.
