IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB) emerged as the National Champion in the Postgraduate Category at the 4th Edition of the IRM-GOER Championship, held on 20 June 2026 at Mahindra University, Hyderabad. The competition brought together the top 10 postgraduate teams from leading institutions across India, including the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, SDA Bocconi Asia Center, National Institute of Bank Management, Pune, NMIMS Navi Mumbai, IIRM Hyderabad, NIA, and other premier management institutes.
The winning team was mentored by Dr Ankur Paliwal, Assistant Professor, Finance, IFMR GSB, whose guidance and support played a key role in the team’s success.
In the final round, participants were required to analyse a business case and respond to successive risk events by developing adaptive risk mitigation strategies in a dynamic business environment.
The championship-winning IFMR GSB team comprised Sahil Lalwani, Raj Kumar Tripathi, Sneha Shah, Vaibhav Acharya, Lakhshana G M, Rupali Kshetija, Tapan Kumar Sathapathy, Puneet Sanghavi, and Pankaj Rajpurohit.
