Major:
In order to earn a Major in Environment Studies, a student must complete a total of 60 credits. Credits must be completed as follows:
- 7 Required courses listed below for a total of 28 credits.
- 6 courses from the Electives offered (including those cross-listed) for a total of 24 credits.
- A Capstone thesis of 8 credits or additional Electives worth 8 credits.
Minor:
In order to earn a Minor in Environment Studies, a student must complete a total of 28 credits. Students must take:
- 6 out of the 7 Required Courses, with “Past, Present and Predicted Environments”, and “Tools and Methods” being mandatory.
- Additional Elective(s) worth 4 credits.
Concentration (Update: 30 Aug 2023):
To qualify for a Concentration in Environment Studies, students can take any four courses (of 4 credits each) from among the Required Courses and Electives to earn a total of 16 credits.
The Krea environmental studies graduate to embark on fulfilling career paths in industry, the nonprofit sector, academia, or government service.
