Aravind R is a first-year PhD student in the Area of Anthropology and Gender Studies at Krea University. His research interests span the fields of Gender and Sexuality, Studies of Everyday Life, Urban Anthropology, Intersectionality, and Kinship. Aravind’s PhD research will be an ethnographic study focused on the everyday experiences of queer individuals in urban Kerala.

Outside of his academic work, Aravind has a deep passion for cooking. He also enjoys music, watching movies, and engaging in lively discussions about films with his friends.
