Dr Suchika Chopra is an applied microeconomist with research interests in health economics and labor economics. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Georgia. Prior to her doctoral studies, she gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Reserve Bank of India, where she worked on the monetary policy transmission channels. Additionally, she worked as an Economics Content Writer at Mint (Hindustan Times), covering various topical issues. She also completed an internship at Niti Aayog, where she studied public-private partnerships in road infrastructure. Her academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
