Harshita Kedia, a Computer Science and Mathematics student, brings practical experience and leadership skills, and hopes that she is able to impact the lives of people positively through her passion for Data Science, Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
Her front end web development experience at IBM helped her understand HTML, CSS and Javascript along with the lifecycle of software development. This helped her use her design skills and delve into the backend development for a major project in Web Development at Krea University. Harshita collaborated with a team of 3 to create a user-friendly Lost & Found web application.
Through her internship at LedBy, she learnt about low code and no code tools and how they can be paired with automation, specifically on Airtable, to help an organisation improve efficiency and reduce costs. She also enhanced her soft skills be partaking in the organisation's professional development workshops which helped her improve those she acquired during the internship at Oorjja.
As part of her internship at Oorjja, Harshita demonstrated commitment by assisting Deaf and Hard-of-hearing students improve their communication skills to help them in their placements.
Her stint in the Student Government helped her hone her leadership skills."
