Soumya Chintakindi
Soumya Chintakindi is an Environmental Studies student at Krea University, driven by a passion for environmentalism that has been nurtured through an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating social, historical, economic, political, ecological, ethical and scientific perspectives. Her key areas of interest include environmental politics, climate change impacts and adaptations, adaptive capacity, environmental governance and justice, sustainable livelihoods and sociology.
Through her experiences as an Advisor for the Young People’s Action Team at UNICEF YuWaah, a Youth Advisory Board Member at Antarang Foundation, and internships at the Centre for Gender and Environment and Centre for Wildlife Studies, she has developed a strong foundation in research, advocacy, youth empowerment and program management. She aims to lead and manage environmental projects, manage conservation programs, and contribute to policy-making that aligns with the SDGs.
She is seeking opportunities to drive meaningful impact through sustainability initiatives, conservation management and environmental governance.
