Manasi joined IFMR GSB in 2019 after her Post-graduation in the area of Economics. Her interest lies in the broad area of Development Economics. She is inquisitive about the state development policies, especially of Kerala. She interned at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram on the Kerala Development Model. Her current research area lies in the field of Energy Economics. She is looking at energy poverty and related energy policies in the Indian context. She is also partial towards industrial economics.
