Ajay Philip has carried out his doctoral research at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He is a sustainability enthusiast, and he has concentrated his research mainly in the field of Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains. Most of his research has centred on agricultural settings in India, and he is eager to explore how Operations Research tools can enhance the sustainability of agriculture in the country. His research has been published in international journals such as Sustainability and the International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management.
Additionally, he has presented his findings at international conferences, including the XXV Annual International Conference of the Society of Operations Management (SOM) and the International Conference on Sustainable Business Management (SBM). He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (CAD-CAM) from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies in 2019, he spent over five years as an Assistant Professor at various engineering colleges in Kerala.
