C Krishnan is a former senior banking professional specialising in Corporate Banking, Credit, and Enterprise Risk Management. His extensive work experience includes senior management roles in MNC banks in India, UK, Australia and the Middle East. Additionally, he has had brief stints at Tata Consultancy Services as the Head of Risk Management in the Banking & Financial Services Industry (BFSI) vertical, as well as at the specialised Risk Management Consultancy company, Aptivaa Consulting Co. His career bank was the ANZ Grindlays Banking Group.
As a faculty member at IFMR GSB, Krishnan teaches a second-year elective course called Modern Bank Management. He also drives the Executive Education Programme at the Institute and conducts training sessions for banks, shared services, and financial institutions. Furthermore, Krishnan serves as the Director of Financial Assistance at the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS), where he oversees the university’s financial support schemes for undergraduate students and manages the scholarship programmes.
Krishnan holds a Master’s in Economics from Madras University and has earned various banking certifications from institutions in India, UK and Australia.
