Professor Srinivasan Kalyanasundaram brings three decades of industry experience spanning Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Risk Management, and Wealth Management. His research interests include liquidity risk in stock exchanges and the impact of FRTB on the Indian Banking Sector.
A qualified Chartered Accountant (all-India rank 46) and Cost and Management Accountant, Professor Srinivasan has accumulated 16 years of IT and consulting expertise with IBM and Cap Gemini. During this period, he has spearheaded the delivery and solutioning of digital transformation, Blockchain Initiatives, Fintech, Analytics, Trading system revamp, and Banking modernisation projects for numerous global banks and capital market firms.
Previously, he has worked at ICICI Bank’s Treasury, Investments, Lending, and IT Captive (ICICI Infotech) for over a decade. Further, his academic journey includes two years as a faculty at the IFMR’s Centre for Advanced Financial Studies, where he taught Bank Management and Financial Risk Management to MBA students specialising in Finance. Additionally, he has co-authored white papers on Transaction Banking with several IBM global leaders, published by IBM in SIBOS.
Professor Srinivasan is an IBM certified Blockchain consultant, Banking Platinum Consultant, Financial Markets Gold Consultant and IBM Consulting Profession Expert. He has strong consulting experience specialising in digital transformation, blockchain business value design, process consulting, application portfolio rationalisation, and package implementation with BFM Institutions.
