Anjana Rajagopalan is an acclaimed Composer, Music producer and Multi-genre vocalist whose work spans Film, Opera and large-scale Cross-cultural International projects. She has led and performed in major international collaborations including the ‘Global Sai Symphony’ with the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra in Germany and orchestras in China, the ‘Indo-Polish’ multicultural concert series in Poland, and invited orchestral performances in Skopje Macedonia, Southbank Center in UK, positioning Indian classical and Operatic vocals within Western symphonic frameworks. In Indian cinema, she works as a film composer and music director, with projects across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, and is known for her innovative work such as India’s first playback Opera aria, alongside ongoing work on feature films with Shaad Ali, Muzaffar Ali and Siva Ananth, Indo-Finnish Symphonic Rock project, the Menopause project etc. At Firdaus Orchestra & Studio in Dubai, founded by A.R. Rahman, she serves as a Composer-Music producer and Orchestrator, contributing to orchestral recordings, tribute concerts, commercial projects and international collaborations, while helping shape contemporary orchestral work led by women musicians on a global stage. She is also known for her work with the Transgender community in making Music education and opportunities accessible, Special needs persons with Music education and comprehension.
