Dr Debangana Mukherjee holds a PhD in Mathematics from IISER, Pune. She has around 4 years of experience, which includes her association with IIT Bombay as NBHM Postdoctoral Fellow. Under the supervision of Prof Mousomi Bhakta in 2018 she has obtained a gold medal for the Best PhD Thesis Award in Mathematics. Before joining IIT Bombay, she worked at Montan University, Leoben, Austria and Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She has published numerous notable international articles in renowned journals.
