The intrinsic question of politics is in our inter-personal lives, be it when we talk of family, education, learning history, our choice of clothes, food, whom we choose to love, and the freedom with which we can live our lives, is largely overlooked. So long as there is a choice, a decision being exercised, there is politics. It is important to be cognizant of how these issues could benefit from discussions through a thriving newspaper. Leher would be the e-paper operating on campus. It will be emblematic of this new wave of sociopolitical consciousness, fluidity, dynamism, and, most importantly, a sense of hope. This is our endeavour to facilitate a better political environment on campus that encourages conversations that make us think and rethink. As young adults, there could be no better opportunity than this newspaper to force us to step out of our privileged and sheltered lives and burst the invisible bubble that we have been living in for far too long.
To that extent, there will be some core values that govern the functioning of Leher:
We pledge to never promote intolerance or expression of hate, discrimination and prejudice or bias in any shape or form.
