Siya Jethliya
A final-year undergraduate at Krea University double majoring in Mathematics & Computer Science, Siya Jethliya brings together a strong quantitative background with applied experience in data science, machine learning, and econometrics. She has worked across finance and technology, interning with Motilal Oswal, Data Foundry, and Appario Retail, where she was part of teams tackling complex, data-driven challenges.
At Appario Retail (an Amazon–Patni JV), she contributed to building econometric pricing models using advanced regression techniques to analyse consumer behaviour and refine pricing strategies. At Data Foundry, she worked on machine learning pipelines, conducting predictive analysis, researching scaling laws such as the Chinchilla paper, and implementing MLflow for experiment tracking and model management. Most recently, at Motilal Oswal, she led analytics efforts within the Business Process Excellence team, developing interactive dashboards powered by Excel, Zoho Analytics, and internal APIs to integrate GitHub Copilot usage, version-control data, and developer activity. These insights were delivered to CXOs, shaping decisions on technology rollout, adoption strategies, and training interventions.
Alongside her internships, Siya has contributed to full-stack projects such as a cab booking platform and an automated timetable generator, applying her skills in Python, R, SQL, and FastAPI to deliver reliable solutions. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Mathematical Reasoning course, supporting peer learning and strengthening students’ problem-solving skills. With her ability to merge technical expertise with analytical reasoning and adaptability, Siya is eager to pursue opportunities in consulting, data analytics, and technology roles where she can make an impact.
