Dr Srirangam V. Venkatanagarajan holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior and HumanResource Management from IIT Madras. Prior to joining Krea University, he was a faculty member at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, where he taught MBA courses in OB, HRM, and Leadership. His teaching style is rooted in interactive, case-driven learning, combining theory with real-world organizational insights.
Dr Venkatanagarajan’s primary research interests lie in the areas of psychological capital, leader–follower dynamics, and workplace well-being, particularly within culturally embedded and service-intensive organizational contexts. His recent projects explore how leader–follower psychological capital congruence influences outcomes such as organizational citizenship behavior, emotional labor, and work engagement — with specific attention to the moderating role of cultural values such as power distance.
He has published in journals such as the International Journal of Cross Cultural Management and actively reviews for peer-reviewed journals in the OB/HR domain. Apart from academia, he is also a trained Carnatic vocalist and takes a keen interest in Indian philosophy, literature, and storytelling.
