Welcome to IFMR GSB, the Graduate School of Business at Krea University. I am Shobha Das, the  Dean.

IFMR GSB is a different kind of business school. We train graduates with sharp minds, active lifestyles and kind hearts.

We blend the old with the new. IFMR has conducted research and training for fifty years, since 1970. Last year, we joined forces with Krea University, one of India’s newest and most dynamic universities.

At IFMR, you will find the whole range of post-graduate programs: the flagship 2-year full- time residential MBA, a 3-year eMBA that brings blended learning to working professionals, a PhD program to train the B-school faculty of tomorrow, and customizable executive programs in emerging areas such as data science and quantitative finance.

We offer an up-to-date curriculum, merging core business functions with innovative interdisciplinary courses in communication, design thinking and ethics. Our students have a choice of immersive industry projects and independent study opportunities with faculty of their choice. Using the Capsim business simulation software, they run their own virtual companies, competing with their peers in a fast-paced environment.

More than all of the above, what makes IFMR special is our students, among the most well- rounded you’ll find in an Indian B-school. Our clean and green 40-acre campus is a microcosm unto itself, where students compete fiercely in cricket and futsal, song and dance, and cooperate selflessly in serving the community around us. From blood donation drives to new year gifts for neighbouring orphanages, from ceremonies to honour our cleaning crew to the annual Lakshmi Bal Mahotsav, where we host 200 children from neighbouring villages on our campus, our students make a difference in the lives of the community around us, particularly the less fortunate. We graduate students who care about business and people. Not one or the other, but both.
