Dr Vijaya C, Assistant Professor, Finance, Accounting and Quantitative Finance, IFMR GSB presented her research paper titled, ‘Enhancing Liquidity in Commodity Derivatives’, co-authored with Rahul Kumar, MBA Cohort of 2024-26, FMR GSB, at the 53rd Eurasia Business and Economics Society (EBES) Conference hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universidad Complutense, Madrid and held from 16-18 October 2025.
The conference brought together many distinguished researchers from all over the world for presenting new research, exchanging information, and discussing current issues in Europe and Asia. The research paper analysed the impact of market and macroeconomic factors on commodity market liquidity and attempted to provide practical insights to policymakers on enhancing liquidity.
