Professor Jayaram Ramakrishnan, a practicing cost and management accountant (Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India), has been associated with IFMR GSB since 2008 and currently serves as a Professor of Practice of Finance. He imparts knowledge in Cost & Management Accounting, Strategic Cost Management, and Financial Accounting across full-time, part-time, and EMBA programmes.
With a PhD in Cost Management and recognised as a Qualified Management Accountant from CIMA UK, Professor Jayaram R brings over two decades of experience in Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Internal Audit fields. His academic journey includes roles as Faculty at SIRC of ICAI, RKM Vivekananda College (Madras University), and as a Visiting Faculty at IIM Trichy.
Beyond his contributions to the PGDM program, Professor Jayaram R actively participates in IFMR GSB’s Management Development Programmes tailored for working executives. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at Pro~active Solutech (India) Pvt Ltd, a consulting and IT solutions company specialising in the design and implementation of Cost Management systems. The company is also engaged in providing Audit, Assurance, Legal, and Risk Management services.
