
Professor Jayaram Ramakrishnan has been associated with IFMR GSB since 2008 and currently serves as a Professor of Practice in Accounting & Finance. Prior to his current role as Professor he was an Adjunct Professor for over 14 years with IFMR while also pursuing his Practice as a Cost & Management Accountant He teaches courses on Cost & Management Accounting, Profitability Analytics & Enterprise Performance Management, Working capital Finance and Financial Accounting across full-time, part-time, and EMBA programmes.
He has handled over 250 plus Executive development training sessions for corporates like Ashok Leyland, Apollo Tyres, Borg Warner, Chemplast, FL Smidth, Gmmco, Hatsun Agro, L&T, Lucas TVS, Murugappa Group, ONGC,RANE Group, RPG, Simpson, Sundaram Clayton, Sundaram Fasteners, Sona Koyo, Visteon, TAFE, Turbo Energy Way Cool to name a few. He is also Programme Director for the Profitability Analytics programme tailored for Auto ancillary & engineering industries
He has also addressed various industrial forums and Professional Institutes like ACMA (auto component), Indian Institute of Foundrymen, Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers and Institute of Cost Accountants of India and CIMA
His academic journey also includes roles as a Visiting Faculty at IIM Trichy & IIM Kozhikode for their Executive development courses, SIRC of ICAI, RKM Vivekananda College (Madras University)
Additionally, he holds the position of Sr. Consultant & Director at Pro~Active Solutech (India) Pvt Ltd, a consulting and IT Solutions Company specializing in the design and implementation of Cost Management systems. Professor Jayaram has actively consulted in the domains of ERP Implementation (SAP/Oracle/MS), Activity based costing, Pricing & Target costing, Balanced Scorecard Implementation for clients across Auto, auto ancillary, engineering, Health care &Pharmaceutical industries.
