This programme covers the concepts of Lean and Six Sigma for both manufacturing and the services organization. Participants are provided an overview of Lean, Six Sigma and the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) problem solving methodology. The programme will detail and deliver both statistical and non-statistical techniques used for continuous process improvement such as process definition, process flow diagrams, data collection techniques, measurement techniques, causes of process variation, pareto diagrams, histograms, cause and effect diagrams, control charts and process capability analysis
The programme will be delivered through a mix of lectures, presentations, CD, case studies and team based exercises. The interactive classroom experience will focus on strategic thinking, flexibility, teamwork and communication skills.
There will be a formal evaluation at the end of the course and on successfully qualifying in the assessment, participants will be certified as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional.
