Mohanapriyadharshini is a PhD scholar in physics with a research interest in neutrino physics and fundamental particle theory. Her academic work is shaped by a curiosity about the nature of neutrinos, their mass properties, and their significance in physics beyond the Standard Model. During her master’s studies at Pondicherry University, she worked on a project in particle physics on whether neutrinos are Dirac particles or Majorana particles. This project marked the beginning of her journey into neutrino physics and introduced her to important theoretical ideas such as neutrino mass generation, lepton number violation, and the physical implications of distinguishing between Dirac and Majorana neutrinos. She is motivated by the unresolved questions in the field and hopes to contribute to research that advances our understanding of the fundamental structure of the universe. With an interest in theoretical physics, she aims to build a meaningful research career focused on neutrino phenomenology and theory.
