Navya joined the PhD programme at IFMR-GSB in the year 2019 after clearing UGC NET JRF in December 2018. Her area of research is Corporate Finance and her research focus on examining the impact of board structure and diversity on financial outcomes and decisions.
Prior to joining PhD programme she worked as an Academic associate at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode from July 2018 to June 2019 and as an assistant professor at Mar Thoma School of Management Studies from May 2017-May 2018.
Professional Background:
Support the professors in various academic activities. This includes creating the teaching materials, conducting the exams, evaluating the exam papers and assisting in research.
Teaching and guiding MBA students along with involvement in administrative responsibilities. The subjects taught include Business Law, Working Capital Management and International Finacial Management.

The supply chain locations and activities contributing to food loss are identified and classified across crops and regions worldwide to analyse the impact of these factors on food loss. Link to the paper
