PhD Student in Finance | Admitted 2023
Neenu has a strong academic background and an unwavering passion for research. Before joining the PhD programme at IFMR-GSB, she worked in IIM Kozhikode as Academic Associate, from 2022 to 2023, which particularly drew her to the research aspects of Finance. She had the opportunity to work under the guidance of different professors, which provided her with valuable exposure to the research process, enabled her to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
During her Masters in Commerce, she got the opportunity to work in the corporate sector (Allianz Technology SE), which exposed her to the corporate work culture. She later also held a part-time job in Chegg Inc, which helped in building problem solving skills.
Her research interests are the fields of Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethical Business Practises and Management Accounting.

Assisted Prof Nemiraja Jadyappa, Prof V G Sreedharan, Prof Pankaj Kumar Baag and Prof Qambar Abidi, which helped her to understand the work culture of Business schools in India

Paper Presentations:
Co-author of the paper titled “Break the chain using blockchain-a concept mapping on the application of blockchain in vaccine management and aid distribution” presented in the conference organised by The Pacific Regional Science Conference Organization (PRSCO), the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) and RMIT University.
Neenu is a jovial person who loves to take part in extracurricular activities like singing, dancing etc. During her undergraduate studies she was in NCC, wherein she was able to attend National Integration Camps. She enjoys travelling, meeting new people and finds happiness in it.
